MAD!!!

When i first thought of writing on this blog, my mind wandered on different aspects that i would love to cover through this blog. It was difficult to choose one among the many i had in my mind, but now i know that MAD is a wonderful start.

What is MAD?

MAD: Make A Difference!

In 23 years of my life on this planet, I've come across people who talk about how bad it is living on this planet with all the filth that exists in the form of ego, corruption, politics, mind games, arrogance, bribe, thefts, and what not, i guess the list is endless. We may consider them to be as whiners, complaint boxes, agony aunts, people who keep complaining about every thing that exists. Well i have a different take on this, i consider this as a positive start to change towards the better. At least these guys have a thought when compared to those who take things as they come. They don't question anything, they don't revolt or protest against anything or anyone who snatches away there freedom from them.

Here's my question NOW?

Have you ever felt that you have the power to change the world? Have you ever felt that a single man's effort can bear fruit to a revolution that will change the face of mankind? Have you ever felt that a single idea can change the way the system works?

Everyone wants to 'change the world', such a cliche. Isn't it? Here's the answer... Consider that you live with a hundred people around you with whom you have regular contact and what happens to them affects you to a larger extent when compared to a hurricane in America. Your world revolves around these 100 people and you form 1% of it. Japanese believe and follow the concept of Constant Improvement. Every morning we wake up, we have thoughts of the numerous things to be done in the entire day. We want to do all those things cent percent perfect but the opposite happens and end up with almost all tasks incomplete. Here's the solution, rather than trying to do 100 things 100 % better, make an effort to do a couple of tasks one percent (1%) better every time and see the difference it will create in your life. Gradually you will start doing things with 100% improvement.

Here's an action list you can refer to. . .

1. Wake up 5 minutes early
2. Reach your school/college/workplace 5 minutes in advance
3. Acknowledge people (ex:- Your mother for preparing delicious food)
4. If you get annoyed or angry early, make an effort to reduce the frequency
5. Treat people the way you would want them to treat you
6. Make an effort to stop procrastinating

Instead of trying to change the whole world, make an effort to do things 1% better every time and you will see for yourself how the world will become a better place to live in.

So c'mon, lets go MAD :-)
